On  November 7-8, 2017, under the joint guidance of the Information and  Communication Development Department of the Ministry of Industry and  Information Technology and the China Communications Enterprise  Association, the Communication Network Operations Committee of the China  Communications Enterprise Association organized the "2017 Conference on  Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction in the Communications  Industry and the Application and Exchange of Energy Conservation  Innovation Achievements" in Beijing.

The Conference on Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction in the Communication Industry is one of the annual grand gatherings of the telecommunication industry. It is a platform for the application, exchange, information release, technology promotion and product exhibition of energy conservation and innovation technology achievements at home and abroad. With the theme of "green development of scientific and technological innovation", the conference shared experiences and exchanged technologies on energy saving and emission reduction practices of green data center, energy saving and emission reduction practices of basic telecom operators, energy saving and innovation technology and application, and application of energy saving and innovation achievements.


Representatives from government departments in charge of telecommunication industry, standard-setting and research institutes of telecommunication industry, basic telecommunication operators, energy-saving research and development of information and communication industry, technology research and development, production and manufacturing, maintenance services, planning and design institutes, product suppliers, consulting institutions, social and industry media attended the meeting.
